Answering THE question of our generation ... Why should I be For Life?

Genetic abnormalities and birth variants are inher Genetic abnormalities and birth variants are inherited diseases caused by changes in the baby’s DNA. Many doctors suggest abortion to parents whose preborn child has been diagnosed with a genetic disease because this child will experience more adversity. The idea that a person only has value if they are free from suffering is the result of our broken world. But God has intimately created each person, even those with genetic diseases, and so gives value to all lives. He also gives every person unique gifts to be used in service of God and neighbor, and He works to sustain every person during times of suffering. Every life, no matter the person’s DNA, is upheld by God’s grace.
As we enter the Lord’s presence at church today, As we enter the Lord’s presence at church today, we rejoice in the hope to come as we patiently await the second coming of Christ. In heaven our new life awaits us, free from the tribulations of this Earth.

A chronic disease is one that lasts for an extende A chronic disease is one that lasts for an extended period, may not have a cure, and requires ongoing medical attention. Examples of this are heart disease, cancer, and diabetes. These diseases are not part of God’s creation. In the garden, Adam and Eve were created with perfect bodies that did not get sick, age, or die. But because of sin, our bodies become sick and will eventually die. Our God is a God of life. So, while on earth, He provides us with medical care and support from our loved ones. But since we do die, God sent His Son Jesus Christ to take on bodily sufferings and endure death so that our bodies would one day be restored and glorified. Whenever we suffer in the body, we can cling to the promise of Christ, trusting that He will wipe every tear from our eyes and give our bodies eternal life.

Our names are a part of our identity. For example, Our names are a part of our identity. For example, our last name tells people about our familial identity. Then, we receive the name and identity of “Child of God” in our baptism. As written in Acts, the name “Lord” carries an identity too, one of life and salvation! As we call on the name of the Lord, we receive this new life in Him.
